Apologies and Updates

Sorry for the lack of updates, but here is one now! Finally!

We gathered all our materials, had sooooo much help getting it all down to the river. We found this guy named Tony and he gave us a place to build. He owns a boat club 2.2 miles down the Ohio River. Easy access from the Northside where we are currently residing. We started out in his yard. Then we got all of our friends together and we picked up our boat and put it in the water. Since then we built a deck and have started building our house. The deck is made out of 14' pallets that we found across the street and the house walls are made of 4x4 pallets, pvc piping, and we are attaching a tarp over top and tying it down for stability. Let the questions and comments flow! Hopefully I can figure out how to put pictures on here. There will be more so soon. Promise. Peace and Love, colin

So far so good.

I'm back from Europe, and have been working hard to get things together. We have now:

Five PFDS
VHF radio
spices (!)
seeds for a garden
A huge nice tarp
mosquito netting
I have a new tent!! I needed one badly, I sent my tent with some Friends I met hitching to India without one.

...and some other things.

we need to build some kind of woodstove. that'd be so nice to cook on.

I made some modles I'm thinking a Quoset hut design would be the most room, lightest, and most windresetent. I'll been getting the kinks out of the design.

On Friday, I'm heading to Pittsburgh, and from I am starting a garden, finding a campsite, and building this raft!

From Pittsburgh we are heading down the ohio to the mississippi. Change of plans there. 2000 miles

what an adventure.

see you soon!
